Which is quicker rc battery car or nitro car ? im not sure..please tell me if kyosho TF5 is excellent for expert racing or not ?
Bioshock,
it’s really dependant upon the specification of the car. The fastest RC car ever recorded was powered by an electric motor, but it’s the general misconception that nitro powered cars are quicker.
If you’re in the situation where you’re racing a standard spec electric car with the standard factory fit electrics then the standard spec nitro car is likely to be quicker.
But, go and google Mamba Max brushless motor / controller sets and anything small of a full race spec nitro is unlikely to get anywhere near it.
It’s also down to the size of the engine used, much in the same way as a Viper is much quicker than a Prius because of it’s significantly larger engine, but the Prius would likely wipe the floor with a 1 litre rust bucket.
Equally, electric motors generate all of their torque from the very beginning (it’s the torque that accelerates the car, not the BHP) whereas nitro engines need to get up to speed befiore developing their torque.
If you’re wanting to race you don’t need a quick car, find a circuit and learn it. Lewis Hamilton could drive my car a hell of a lot quicker than I could drive his. Being quick around a circuit isn’t about going quick, it’s about being smooth, there’s a chance that a nitro car would feel overpowered to a beginner in a close racing situation and you’d spend more time spinning the wheels than really getting anywhere.

Mobility scooters are fantastic devices to allow you the freedom and independence you want! There are many reasons that you might want to use a mobility scooter. Typically, users find that they have some use of their legs, but prefer not to walk longer distances. . . perhaps because of a heart, lung, or arthritis issue, or any other number of medical issues. Or, perhaps it’s simply a convenience issue for you: it is very convenient to get around with a scooter, especially if you find that you have to carry things.
Mobility scooters are just the answer for your independence and convenience needs. Unlike a wheel chair, you are sitting upright in a chair and you steer with handlebars which allow you to control the speed and direction of your scooter. Rest assured that these scooters are very stable and won’t go so quick that you will feel like you’re in a race!
These scooters are brilliant to use when you’re shopping because they often have a large base (where you keep your feet) with plenty of room left over for the week’s groceries or gifts for the grandchildren. There’s a front basket available on some models (if it doesn’t come with the scooter automatically, you can usually order one as an accessory) and often you can order back wire baskets as well. The end result? Plenty of storage space as you drive around!
These scooters are powered by battery packs which are recharged through your normal household outlets. Just plug them in when you’re not using your mobility scooter and you’ll have the batteries charged for when you’re ready to head out. Depending on the make, you may even find that you can get solar powered chargers so you can renew your batteries while you’re on the go. That’s convenient because it reduces the likelihood that you’ll get stranded while you are out and about.
Another fantastic accessory to consider adding to your scooter is a canopy, which allows you to go out even in the rain or snow and not get wet! These canopies are lightweight and heavy duty and attach right to your scooter easily.
Aside from the scooter itself, there are many other accessories you may want to consider for your convenience and comfort. A lift, for example, is one critical thing you’ll want to get if you plot on putting your scooter into a vehicle for longer trips. You can get external lifts (which usually attach to a trailer hitch on the back of your vehicle) or internal lifts (which attach inside your vehicle. Some scooters easily disassemble and reassemble and will easily fit into the trunk of your car, but a lift lets it remain intact on the back of your car so it’s ready to go when you park.
Mobility scooters let you get where you need to go! They provide independence and comfort at an affordable price. Soon, you won’t have any distress keeping up – or even passing – people who are walking down the street!

As we once again was bored at the leisure activity club at www.miniracing.no yesterday, we chose to rebuild the Cheap RC car that we did quality testing in last Thursday (28.08.08 entry). As the stock batteries and motor did not quite come up to par, we retrofitted the car with a 9 cell 2200mAh LiPo pack at 33.3V. When looking around for a suitable engine, we place the car on our best lipo charger. (an unbalanced, non stabilized piece of that we MIGHT have bought at a leisure activity-store, MAYBE in Drammen)
When somebody noticed a smell of fresh apples or something similar, and weird sounds was coming from both the charger and battery pack in the car, we stopped searching for engine, cranked up the charger, place on a smile and waited…
This video clip starts right before the first LiPo bag ruptures with a distinct “pop”. It’s ONLY the LiPo battery that is burning in this video, no gunpowder, gasoline or other accelerators were used, and the battery pack is only doing what it does because it is over-charged.
WARNING: WE ARE TRAINED PROFESSIONAL IDIOTS, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DO THIS AT HOME. SERIOUS INJURY, DEATH OR FUN COULD RESULT FROM SUCH ACTIONS. RETURN TO THIS SITE FOR MORE Fascinating Leisure activity PROJECTS THAT YOUR MOTHER WOULD Despise, AND YOUR FATHER WOULD SILENTLY ADMIRE.
Have a fantastic week-and

If you’re new to the radio control toys past-time, you’ll want to know some information about functionality, range, size, and power basics before you make a choice on the model that’s's right for you. Some of these basics are merely “nice-to-know,” while some are comprehensive “need-to-know. ” Some of this info represents “direct impact” information toward your final call of the exact model, manufacturer, scale, and motor type that best suits your present situation. Your primary choices rely on if you’re purchasing the radio control model for yourself, your kid, your grandchild, or if it’s's a present for a pal. This article presumes you have already made that selection, as well as whether you have selected a car, ship, van, aeroplane, helicopter, or construction gear – and you know what level of expertise your selected RC vehicle requires. Function makes reference to what type of control you have over the model. Your selections for function are : Single-function ( goes straight when moving forward, and turns left while traveling in reverse ). Full-function models go forward, backward, turn right and left, stop, and, in the case of construction equipment, lift, dump, load, and perform most of the functions of real life construction machines. Designed mostly for small children, multi-function cars go forward, in reverse, steer one direction only and stop. Range is how far from the transmitter the model can go before it no longer answers to the control signal. This distance varies for the different remote control toys, but most toys fall into the range of 30-feet to a touch more than 180-feet. These interferences include things such as puny batteries, other nearby toys operating on the same frequency, citizen’s band ( CB ) radios, cell telephones, and nearby high-voltage transformers. Find the range stated on the package, and in the product description. Scale tells you the size of the radio control, or chassis length, in relation to the real deal. The smaller the fraction, the smaller the automobile, and sizes range from the tiniest at 0. 33 2-scale to the largest at 1 / 8-scale. Those are NITRO ( internal combustion ) and battery. NITRO needs the extra buy of liquid fuel. Larger electric cars use chargeable battery packs in one of four different Ni-Cad voltage versions. They’re : 4. 8-volt in a blue package, 6. 0-volt in black packaging, 9. 6-volt packaged in red, and the yellow package containing 7. 2-volts of power. The 4. 8-volt rechargeable battery packs usually are included with the model. Check the product outline to see. 7. 2v models routinely don’t include the battery pack or the charger. Buy that separately. The transmitter control also needs either a 9-volt battery or multiple AA batteries. Occasionally the manufacturer includes those, infrequently not. The product outline, and / or the packaging should tell you if you must make that an extra buy. You now have enough info to lead you to the final call as to which radio control vehicle fits your needs and wants. Make your selection scrupulously and you, or your giftee, will delight in many hours of fun with your RC model.
